What the advantage of useing the big line kit if the banjo bolt hole is still the same size? Does it make a difference? How about new banjo bolts and where to buy them? sorry for so many ?'s

I agree with the Good Doctor...

Take a look at the size difference of the fuel lines...

The blue hose is 1/2" ID hose compared to 6mm ID steel stock fuel lines... As for the banjos they are even more restrictive that this... If it was me I would go with the BIG LINE kit from Vulcan Performance! (Which I did :thumbsup )

yeah my big line relocate kit came with all new fittings to do away with the banjos. the new fittings are high flow fittings. if you look on this sight someone was selling a big line relocate kit for 100$ new and that is a good price.

Sorry that kit was sold yesterday.

Yes I bought one at genos garage, its cheaperin price now, $115 I think. Anyway this line kit is worth its weight in gold!! Before the kit I was14/15 psi at idle, 12psi cruiseing, and 8 WOT. Now its 16 idle 14/15 cruiseing and 12 WOT. Its just peice of mind knowing I cant put my fuel pressure in single digits! This kit is 1/2 inch line from the relocated lift pump all the way to the VP44. Not a banjo bolt in sight!!

Becareful... The Geno kit is only 3/8" hose and slightly smaller fittings... Ask Eric at Vulcan Performance about it... He is the one that builds them for Genos... And the Genos kit doesn't cover the Banjos at the VP44 and Fuel filter! :wow:

Why buy a imotation get the really deal! :thumbsup

Yes mine is all half inch from the lift pump on, all the way to the filter housing, and then on to the VP! the only 3/8 is the side coming from the tank. From what I gather it is a new kit with more hose and hardware to eliminate ALL the banjos.

Sorry... I didn't know that Geno's finally start selling the BIG LINE kit... They were selling just a relocation kit provided by Vulcan...

Thats alright, when I first went to order it, I thught it was the one you are talking about then I read closly and I saw that it was 1/2 plus enough hardware and hose to go all the way to the pump!! I said SWWEEETTT!!! The rest is history!!!

I would jump at that too... :thumbsup

Vulcan kit is the way to go. Link is in my signature.
i bought my kit from genos and it is the exact same kit as vulcans, in fact i believe that it is the same kit, vulcan makes genos kit, or genos sells vulcans kit, however you want to put it.

Geno's is a dealer for Vulcan, so it would be Vulcan's kit.

thats what i was saying, just didnt want him to think that buying the same product from someone else was any better. hope i dont sound like an ahole!

did any of you guys notice a power gain? JW thanks!

#18 ·
No power gain just stable fuel pressures...:w:

#20 ·
To gain performance you going to need a box and/or sticks... Big fuel lines are not going to do it. The big fuel line ensure that the VP44 is going to get enough fuel at WOT...

If you are going to do the Big lines might as well go all the way and get the draw straw kit as well.:woot:

Now running 1/2" line from point of entry to the inlet of the VP.:thumbsup
